Accessibility
How we make this website usable for everyone, the standard we aim for and how to tell us about a problem.

On this page
We want everyone to be able to use this website. That includes people who use assistive technology, such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice control or a keyboard only.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the international standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
What we have done
On this website you can:
- use every link, button, menu and form with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are
- skip straight to the main content with the “Skip to main content” link
- move around each page with clear headings and page regions
- read text that has enough contrast against its background
- zoom in up to 400% and use a narrow screen without scrolling sideways
- turn off animation: we follow the “reduce motion” setting on your device
- fill in forms with clear labels, and see a list of any errors that links to each one
- hear meaningful images described by a screen reader
How we test
We check every type of page with automated accessibility tests, test it with a keyboard, and check it on phone, tablet and desktop screen sizes. We test again when we change the website.
Known limitations
Some links take you to websites we don’t control, such as the businesses’ own websites and Google Maps. Those websites may not meet the same standard.
If you find something on this website that is hard to use, please let us know. We will try to fix it, or give you the information in another way.
