Licensing in some states
Labour hire providers need a licence in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and the ACT. Western Australia has no general labour hire licensing scheme. Ask about licensing if workers will be placed interstate.
Safety is shared
The labour hire provider and your business both have work health and safety duties for the workers.
